Prayer & Care Ministries

The Prayer Chain

Resurrection Church has always been dedicated to prayer and reaching out to those who are in need of prayer. As a church community we are supportive of one another and know within our hearts that prayer is a powerful expression of love.

Do you believe in the power of prayer? The members of our Prayer Chain Ministry do, and so do the many people who request their prayers. As an important “link” in our Prayer Chain we ask that you make a year-long commitment to pray in your own way for those who request it.

If you are committed to prayer, become a link! What a great way to express our love of and trust in God. Please contact the Parish Office at 306-352-0800 or by email.

Hospitality Ministry

The ministry of hospitality is central to our parish mission. Our goal is to build a welcoming and vibrant parish community for all ages and walks of life. Through ministry involvement and other activities, we work to immerse new and current members into the life of our parish and strive to build a true “parish family.”  At Resurrection , we believe that a healthy parish life is everyone’s responsibility and believe that members feel a vested interest in the life of the parish when they are involved.

This is a wonderful way to minister to your church family if you have limited time and need to schedule your volunteer time. To get involved in the Hospitality Ministry, please contact the Parish Office at 306-352-0800.

Coffee & Cookies Ministry

In the spirit of fostering community, coffee and cookies are offered after Masses on Sunday mornings. The volunteers who coordinate this ministry make it possible for parishioners and visitors to spend time getting to know one another and build community. Those interested in assisting with hospitality should contact the parish office at 306-352-0800.

Ministry of Care

The Ministry of Care brings the spirit of compassion and presence to the sick, needy and bereaved of our community in the name of Christ and His church.  Our certified Ministers of Care visit the sick and bring Eucharist to the hospitals, homebound, nursing homes and living centers.  All training necessary to become a Minister of Care will be provided and we need your help.

For more information please contact the Parish Office at 306-352-0800.
